I am recognized by the American Kennel Club as an Evaluator for their Canine Good Citizen program services and Trick Titles. The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) demonstrates two important aspects: being a responsible dog owner and that their dog has the training to be reliable and a well behaved member of their family and community.
All mixed breed dogs, regardless of age, are welcome to join the AKC family through the Canine Partner Program. Dogs registered as AKC Canine Partners are eligible to take part in AKC sports and activities, such as Agility, Rally, or Obedience. All dogs are welcome to join the AKC Canine Partner Program, even if they do not meet the criteria for AKC Purebred Registration or the AKC Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL).
As a company that advocates for mixed breeds, our values stands behind the belief that every dog deserves the opportunity to compete in events and enhance their lives, regardless of their pedigree.
Training your dog for the CGC program is essential because it cultivates good behavior, socialization and obedience. It not only enhances the bond between you and your dog, but also promotes a well-behaved and adjusted companion. Additionally, the CGC certification can open doors for your dog to participate in various activities, events and public spaces with confidence and a positive behavior.
Training your dogs for the AKC Tricks Titles are important as it goes beyond basic obedience, adding a layer of mental stimulation and engagement. It challenges your dog to learn a variety of tricks, fostering a stronger bond between you and your pet. This types of training enhances your dog's cognitive abilities, boosts their confidence and provides a fun and rewarding outlet for both human and canine.
